6.13.2024

We are excited to announce the latest data integration with the System Graph: the EMBL Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS) database. This new data source represents a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to build the most valuable graph of biomedical knowledge.

The EMBL GWAS database is a comprehensive resource that compiles data from numerous genome-wide association studies. These studies investigate the genetic variations associated with various diseases and traits, providing valuable insights into the genetic underpinnings of complex conditions.

View of findings on the edge between APOE and Alzheimer's disease

By incorporating this wealth of genetic information, we aim to provide researchers, clinicians, and data scientists with a more robust tool for exploring the genetic basis of health and disease. This integration:

  1. Expands Genetic Insights: Incorporates a vast array of genetic associations, enabling users to explore links between genetic variants and diseases more comprehensively.
  2. Improves Data Connectivity: Enhances the connections between genetic data and existing biomedical information, providing a more interconnected and holistic view of biological relationships.
  3. Boosts Research Utility: Offers new avenues for hypothesis generation and validation, supporting advanced research in genomics, personalized medicine, and drug discovery.

We look forward to seeing the discoveries and advancements that will emerge from the enriched System Graph. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to enhance our platform with additional data sources and functionalities.
